Sweepstakes terms and conditions


The Poppy Store Sweepstakes is open to newly-registered Legion members as well as those who submit their name, address and telephone number to marketing@legion.ca between the period of May 28 through July 1, 2018. Paid employees of The Royal Canadian Legion at any level are not eligible to participate.

Entry into the Sweepstakes

Eligible registrants must have their Legion Membership processed or provide their name, address and telephone number to marketing@legion.ca by 11:59 p.m. EST July 1, 2018 to enter. One entry per registrant. Entries and winners will be validated by Dominion Command.

All personal information, such as name and contact information, required to enter the sweepstake is collected by the Legion solely for the purposes of administering the sweepstake and engaging in membership activities. This information shall not be used for any other purpose without your express consent. By providing this information, you consent to it being used for the stated purposes.

Prize Details

Three winners will be chosen by a random draw of all sweepstakes entries one week after the entry deadline. Only the winners will be contacted using the telephone number provided at the time of entry. Winners agree that The Royal Canadian Legion may use their name, image and/or voice for advertising purposes related to the Poppy Store sweepstakes free of charge.

The complete sweepstakes prize is a Poppy Store credit valued at $250 CAD. Information on redeeming the credit will be provided to the winners when they are contacted by the Legion.

The Poppy Store credit is not transferable and has no cash value.
