Subject: ALL BRANCH - A TOUTES LES FILIALES (10-001) - Legion starts fund for assistance to Haiti/La Légion démarre un fonds d’aide à Haïti
Quebec Command of The Royal Canadian Legion has started a fund to help earthquake-stricken Haiti. Branches of the Legion can make donations from their general funds to Quebec Command which has set up a special bank account to handle the money.
Cheques should be made out to Quebec Provincial Command (Haiti) and sent to their offices at 1000 St-Antoine Street W., No. 410. Montreal, QC, H3C 3R7. The call has gone out to all legion branches to try and help this nation in its time of dire need.
Donations will be sent by Quebec Command to the Red Cross, a trusted humanitarian organization that is already involved in the relief effort.

La Direction du Québec de la Légion royale canadienne a mis sur pied un fonds d’aide aux victimes du tremblement de terre en Haïti. Un compte dédié à cet effet a été établi et les filiales de la Légion peuvent puiser dans leur fonds de fonctionnement pour envoyer l’argent directement à la Direction du Québec.
Prière de libeller vos chèques à l’ordre de L.R.C. Direction du Québec (Haïti) et de les faire parvenir au 1000 rue St-Antoine Ouest, bureau 410, Montréal, Qc, H3C 3R7. Nous lançons un appel à toutes les filiales afin de venir en aide à cette nation durement éprouvée.
Les fonds recueillis seront remis à la Croix-Rouge, un organisme humanitaire digne de confiance déjà impliqué dans les secours.
